Mission
Utilizing a twin stateroom sailing yacht, we transport trained medical volunteers on 7 day missions that originate out of San Carlos, Mexico. We visit the many small villages, towns and tar paper shack communities that dot the Gulf of California’s coastline and provide their children with primary medical examinations, health education for their parents and coordinate necessary treatments with the local clinics as needed.
Volunteers, along with being able to provide their services and skills to these impoverished communities, also get the opportunity to enjoy the adventure of blue water sailing and the incredible beauty of the Sea of Cortez. Swimming, fishing, helping with onboard duties and just plain relaxing is included (weather permitting) in every mission so that the experience is enjoyable as well as fulfilling.
